We in Port Hope are facing crises of affordability, COVID 19 recovery, struggling businesses and climate change. It’s time for a new chapter.

The old face of Port Hope politics has had its day. I offer a new, hope-filled vision.

I have a 50-year history in Northumberland County, I grew up in rural Grafton. Now I live, work and organize for the community in Port Hope. I have the professional skills and relevant experience to be a strong and steady leader.

My commitment to you – I will listen actively. I will act with integrity, honesty and transparency. I will lead with determination, openness, and a clear vision. I will not make promises I cannot keep.

I am ready to tackle the challenges ahead of us to create a resilient, prosperous and caring Port Hope that will benefit everyone — will you join me?

On October 24th, vote Olena Hankivsky for Mayor. Vote for Hope.

I respectfully acknowledge that I live, work and play on the traditional and treaty territory of the Michi Saagig (Mississauga) Nations. I pay respect to their elders and leaders – past, present and emerging.
